Out of state or ordering dorm/apartment items online? With Ship to Storage, families can ship items to Secure Space Storage Farmington after their estimate is accepted. Boss Hog collects shipments from the storage office, labels them, places them into storage, and holds them until scheduled pickup, scheduled delivery, or eligible Early Move In residence hall delivery.

Move into your dorm before you even arrive.
Skip the stress of hauling boxes across campus. Through our official partnership with University of Arkansas Housing, Boss Hog Moving is authorized to access residence halls before traditional move-in begins. Using Ship-to-Storage, simply ship your belongings to us. We receive, inventory, securely store, and deliver everything directly into the assigned residence hall room during the University’s approved early delivery period.
Important eligibility
This service is performed exclusively by Boss Hog Moving. Students, parents, family members, friends, and guests are not permitted to accompany our crews or access residence halls during this early delivery period. Customers gain access to their room during the University’s normal move-in process.
Separate premium pricing
Customers must purchase both Ship-to-Storage and Early Move In. Each service has its own pricing; Early Move In is not included with Ship-to-Storage.

Student Storage FAQs
What size storage unit do I need for a dorm or apartment?+
Most dorm rooms fit in a small storage unit (5×5 or 5×10). A one-bedroom apartment typically needs a 10×10. We can help you estimate the right size when you request a quote — just tell us what you have and we'll figure out the rest.
Do you offer pickup from my apartment or dorm?+
Yes! That's one of the best parts of our service. We come to your place, load everything up at move-out, store it securely for the summer (or however long you need), and then deliver it back when you're ready to move in at the start of the next semester. No storage truck rental needed.
Can I ship my student’s items before move-in?+
Yes, after your Ship to Storage estimate is accepted. Boss Hog sends a private shipment portal link with instructions, then families can ship items to our storage partner before move-in. Please do not ship items before your service is confirmed. Early Move In can be added separately for eligible University of Arkansas residence hall deliveries.
Can Boss Hog deliver the shipped items on move-in day?+
Yes. Families can choose pickup, scheduled delivery, or eligible Early Move In residence hall delivery for an additional cost.
Do I need Ship-to-Storage for Early Move In?+
Yes. Early Move In is only available with Ship-to-Storage. Ship-to-Storage and Early Move In are separate services with separate pricing.
Can my family come during Early Move In delivery?+
No. University policy only allows authorized Boss Hog Moving personnel inside residence halls during the approved early delivery period. Students, parents, family members, friends, and guests cannot accompany the crew.
Do I need to be present for Early Move In?+
No. Our authorized crew completes the residence hall delivery before the student arrives. Customers access the room during the University’s normal move-in process.
Is Early Move In available for apartments?+
No. Early Move In currently applies only to participating University of Arkansas residence halls.
Is there an additional Early Move In fee?+
Yes. Ship-to-Storage and Early Move In are separate premium services with separate pricing.

Do you offer long-term storage, or just summer?+
Both. Through Secure Space Storage we offer short-term storage (a few weeks, a summer, a semester gap) and long-term storage (months or longer) on a flexible month-to-month basis. Whether you're a student, a family between homes, or just need extra space, we can handle it.
When should I book summer storage for UARK?+
As early as possible — ideally 4–6 weeks before your move-out date. May is extremely busy in Fayetteville, and pickup slots fill up quickly. Booking early guarantees your preferred dates and locks in the best rates.
Can I access my items during the summer?+
In most cases, yes — we can arrange access to your stored items during the storage period. Ask about access options when booking so we can set up the right solution for your needs.
