UARK Moving FAQs
When should I book my UARK move-out?+
We recommend booking at least 4–6 weeks before your target move date, especially for May. UARK move-out season is one of the busiest times of year in Fayetteville — dates fill up fast, and we can't always accommodate last-minute bookings during peak weeks. Book early to lock in your preferred date.
Do you move dorm room and apartment furniture?+
Absolutely! We handle everything — dorm furniture, apartment furniture, boxed items, electronics, bikes, and more. Whether you need a one-room dorm move or a full 4-bedroom apartment cleared out, we have the crew and equipment to get it done.
Can you store my belongings between semesters?+
Yes! We offer student storage solutions perfect for summer break or semester gaps. We can pick up your items at move-out, store them securely, and deliver them back at move-in. Check out our dedicated Student Storage page for details.
Can I ship my student’s items before move-in?+
Yes, after your Ship to Storage estimate is accepted. Boss Hog sends a private shipment portal link with instructions, then families can ship items to our storage partner before move-in. Eligible residence hall students can also add Early Move In as a separate premium service.
Can Boss Hog deliver the shipped items on move-in day?+
Yes. Families can choose pickup, scheduled delivery, or eligible Early Move In residence hall delivery for an additional cost.
What is Early Move In?+
Early Move In is a premium Ship-to-Storage add-on for participating University of Arkansas residence halls. During the July 30-August 4 approved early delivery window, authorized Boss Hog personnel deliver belongings directly into the assigned room before the student arrives. Ship-to-Storage and Early Move In are separate services with separate pricing.
Can you assemble items before delivery or pickup?+
Yes. Assembly can be added for an additional cost depending on the items.
How much does a UARK student move cost?+

Can my student book the move if I (the parent) am not in Fayetteville?+
